Best Camping Stove

What is the best hiking stove and where can you get it? I want one for long trips across Mongolia and will need to use locally available fuel.

Important things include:

• Availability of fuel
  
• Light weight
  
• Maintenance

Options are = gas or petrol stoves.
Petrol stoves need maintenance, but petrol is available all over.
Gas is easier to maintain, but gas is available in main cities only.
You can not get meth's or similar for alcohol stoves in Mongolia.

Try out a petrol stove, see if it works for you.

Used, Chinese, home made stoves - at the Black Market, which is an open very large market where you can find anything.

A petrol stove takes some experience to maintain.
Best would be to get one at your home country and gain experience before your trip.

A good petrol stove brand name is MSR available in camping stores in the west.
